Ok, so this will be the last post on staples, I read all of your comments, and I thank you for your imput. Tom, if you are reading this I totally understand where you are coming from and yes you do have a very strong point. we cannot judge all staples' stores based on the performance of one store. However, I found out from one of their managers that all of staples NATIONWIDE use the same outside printing company for their Business card orders... so, I could assume that I would have had the same problem no matter what staples I whent to, (I am just busting your chops Tom, I know what you meant and I will consider going back to staples in the future.. but not right now.. lol). Anyways, a couple of good things did come out of this. They refunded me the price I paid for the order so I got the cards for free.. and when the 4th or 5th (I lost count) of business cards came in I took them although they were still CUT a little lop sided, but I just wanted this ordeal to END. at the end they also gave me 40 dollars in the form of two 20 dollar cupons towards any purchase staples. Needless to say, I gave one away to my Girlfriend, and the other is collecting dust because I have not gone back. THE END! lol... (or is it!!!??)
HEY EVERYONE!!! I know I havent psted anything in a long time but it is because I have been rather busy lately.. anyways.. I am posting that I HAVE MY FIRST CLIENT!!! (i sound like a dork, I know, but its exciting for me!) anyways, I have a young lady who wants to come in because she bites her cuticles and whats to stop (not nails, only cuticles). If anyone has any words of advice or encouragement.. lol THEY ARE VERY WELCOME.. I will try to keep everyone posted on the progress... THANKS FOR READING!!!
Since it seems like more than 0 people have read this and given me feedback (way more thang I expected, i thought no one would read it, lol) I have decided to begin to write updates on this situation, for entertainment purposes. I wrote a formal complaint on Staples.com today, and we will see how that goes, my prediction is that I will get a generic email stating their concern, and MAYBE a coupon or a guarantee that my order will be refunded to me.. or something.. but thats me getting REALLY LUCKY!, lol we will see.. OH AND THANK YOU TO ALL THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE SHOWED THEIR SUPPORT BY JOINING ME IN NEVER SHOPPING AT STAPLES EVER AGAIN!!! lol.. thanks alot!
I just have to vent this out, lol so.. sorry if you decide to read this because it is nothing but a big fat complaint on STAPLES!!!!
Ok, so I have my business cards, but the back side is blank, so I decided to add some Additional information that lets people know more specifically what I deal with in hypnosis. so I take my business card to staples and I ask them, can you just replicate the front.. (like scan it) and then customize the back? "Of course!!!! I dont see the problem!) so he does so.. he scans it and we pick out the font and size of the letters and what is going to go on the back and the placing and everything. I have to pay upfront (which I had no problem, although usually when you order something and have to wait most places dont make you pay until you get your product (like dry cleaners). But I was calm and understood that the cards her outsourced to a company in the middle of nowhere and so on. The guy told me that they keep in constant communication through emails, and so 5 to 7 business days.. I would have my cards. That seemed resonable, so I agreed and left the place. 7 Business days later I called in and no cards, they said that the company that makes the cards state that they already mail it and so th email only takes 2 to 3 days and so it would be here in 3 days... 4 days (thursday) they call me to tell me the cards have arrived. I go to pick them up and the back is missing a word (Hypnosis Menu for Positive... it was missing the word Change) so it was useless AND they did not even do the words in the font we set. The manager apaologized and assured me that they would order a new set.. and since they already have the template done.. all it would be was a little tweak here and there and so they could probably ship a new set the same day, so 2 to 3 days for shipping and it would be here tuesday the latest. I was not upset YET, because at least he told me that the new and correct set could be shipped out that same day, so I decided to wait.
I call back on tuesday, and no cards... I call back wednesday, "sorry, not in yet" THURSDAY, nope.. not in... Friday I get the manager on the phone and I decide to get a little more Authoritative on the phone and I express to him that I feel that I am getting the run around because he told me one thing and it seems like.. thats not what was happening (where was the 3 day shipping he was talking about?) and would you BELIEVE WHAT HE SAID TO ME?! he said... "i am sorry you feel that way.. I am NOT giving you the run around but the only way I can get this shipped faster is to pay extra to make it a rush order... and that would mean CHARGING you extra... and you dont want that"... CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!? hello!? you got my order wrong... STAPLES needs to pay for a rush delivery on the 2nd set.. THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! so anyways, I was not going to let this guy get the best of me and so I just said fine... call me when they are here... and so I got a call on Wednesday... this is going on for 3 going on 4 weeks now.. and I go the place... AND THE FONT IS STILL WRONG!!!!! so.... I asked for the manager to call me tomorrow (friday... which I doubt he will) and we will see what happens.. I am sorry to write so much negativity... but I had to let it out! lol... long story short... I will never shop at staples ever again!
